Whether your style is bold and beautiful or soft and subtle, permanent cosmetics is the modern application of the age-old art of tattooing, iron oxide pigments precisely deposited into the dermal layer of the skin, that provides a safe and natural-looking alternative to your daily makeup routine.
There are many different procedures permanent cosmetics can provide. The most frequently requested procedures are eyebrows, eyeliner and lip color. These procedures take between one and two hours apiece, and are scheduled after the consultation. You will be scheduled for at least one follow-up visit to do any touch-up work and to ensure your procedure meets your expectations.
Eyebrows: Anyone who desires fullness or definition to her eyebrows will benefit from permanent eyebrows. From a few strokes to fit small areas to total brow recreation, your technician can give you the freedom of never using an eyebrow pencil again. Pigments come in a warm, cool and neutral palette from platinum blondes to rich brunettes and varying shades of universal taupes.
Eyeliner: From a soft, natural-looking enhancement to a more defined line – the choice is yours! Permanent eyeliner can be applied in many styles and colors. Whatever you choose, you will wake up, shower, exercise, work, swim and go to bed always looking your best.
Lips: Lip liner can be applied to give more definition, correct uneven lips, or add fullness to the mouth. The procedure also helps prevent lipstick from bleeding and can minimize the appearance of wrinkles. Or, forget the lipstick altogether and add full lip color! Full lip color can be applied in a natural hue or a more vivid one. Wear it alone or apply different shades of lipstick over your permanent lip color – you will find that the color lasts all day.
Thicker, longer, luxurious lashes that last up to two months and you never have to put on mascara!
Novalash eyelash extensions are an entirely new method of enhancing the length and thickness of eyelashes. Extensions are applied on a lash-by-lash basis for a totally natural look. When properly applied, Novalash eyelash extensions can last from up to six to eight weeks.
Also known as “skin needling,” with similar results to laser, chemical peels and other dermabrasion treatments, but with less damage to the epidermis. Unlike other methods of resurfacing the skin, which destroy entire layers of the epidermis, this technique allows for ongoing treatments as it preserves the epidermis and stimulates new collagen deposits and can even stimulate new melanocyte production in old scarred tissue, to restore color in areas hypopigmentation!
Teeth whitening is one of the simplest cosmetic procedures if done right. Doing it right means using a proper whitening agent (that is, a good hydrogen peroxide gel,) and an appropriate whitening accelerator. The most practical accelerator is an LED lamp emitting cold blue light with a wavelength of around 465 nanometers. This wavelength of light is ideal for activating the hydrogen peroxide gel and accelerating the whitening process.
A cosmetic teeth-whitening treatment will NOT make your teeth pearly white. It will make them whiter. How much whiter? It really depends on a multitude of factors, including how stained your teeth were before the whitening, what kind of staining agent caused most of the coloration, how well your enamel reacts to peroxide and the number of treatments performed. It also depends on the kind of gel (carbamide vs. hydrogen peroxide), the concentration of the teeth whitening gel and the kind of application system that is used.
Most people will get impressive results while a few will get less dramatic results, but 99% of people are very satisfied with the results they obtain with our system. Some people’s teeth cannot really be whitened at all, such as those that were stained by the antibiotic tetracycline or fluorosis.
